As a lifestyle expert with years of experience observing and analyzing public figures, I must say that actor Jiiva seems to be a man of passion, both on-screen and off. His recent incidents, including the car accident and the altercation with reporters, paint a picture of an individual who stands firm in his beliefs and isn’t afraid to express them, even when under pressure.
In Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu, Tamil actor Jiiva and his wife Supriya were involved in a severe car crash while on their way to Chennai. Thankfully, despite their luxury vehicle being badly damaged, they both sustained only minor injuries in the accident.
As per accounts, a youth riding a motorbike unexpectedly emerged onto the road, causing an actor to swerve to avoid a crash. Unfortunately, in doing so, the actor’s vehicle struck a dividing barrier and overturned. Remarkably, both Jiiva and his spouse, Supriya, managed to survive the close call of a severe car accident.
Speaking directly with DT Next, I can affirm that the actor, in my own experience, emerged unscathed from the recent incident, fortunately avoiding any severe injuries. Swiftly making arrangements, he embarked on a journey to Chennai by another means of transport.
On social media, numerous clips surfaced of Jiiva appearing upset following a mishap, which included him shouting at spectators who gathered around him. Eventually, officers arrived on the scene to manage the situation, starting an inquiry into the event.

Recently, news outlets featured Jiiva following a contentious argument with journalists who inquired about the Hema Committee report.
He said, “I heard about it too. It’s wrong. We had #MeToo part 1, and now part 2 has emerged. Now, people are openly naming the abusers. It’s wrong. We should strive for a healthy atmosphere in cinema.”
Jiiva strongly encouraged journalists to steer clear of certain questions to preserve a positive atmosphere. Yet, when confronted about sexual misconduct incidents within Tamil cinema, the actor became embroiled in an argument and asserted that “such problems are non-existent in the Tamil film industry; it’s just Kerala where they occur.” Following this exchange, the actor left the event in a rage.
