Famed hair stylist Jesus Guerrero has sadly passed away at just 34 years old. Known for styling stars such as Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Moore, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Charli XCX, and many others in Hollywood, his influence will be deeply felt. After news of Jesus Guerrero’s demise was made public, heartfelt tributes flooded in from friends and admirers who shared their grief over this unfortunate loss.
What happened to Jesus Guerrero?
The sad news of celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero’s passing was shared through a GoFundMe page by his sister, Gris. While she didn’t disclose the reason for his death, Gris stated that arrangements were being made to transport Guerrero back to his hometown, Houston, Texas.
Guerrero’s sister announced in her statement, ‘With great sadness, we share that Jesus Guerrero has passed away and is now in heaven. He was a son, a sibling, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and far more than these roles encompass.’
Raised in Houston, Texas by immigrant parents, Jesus was accustomed to working diligently and harbored aspirations of reaching great heights with his talents. Tragically, his death occurred all too abruptly and without warning.
Gris asked people to contribute and posted pictures of a hairstylist on the page. Currently, donations have exceeded the target of $80K, reaching over $88K. On Guerrero’s official Instagram account, his family expressed their thanks to everyone who helped during this tough period.
They posted Guerrero’s photo on Instagram Stories and wrote, “We’re grateful for all the affection and encouragement during these tough times. Jesus truly shone as a beacon of light, and we know he left an indelible mark on every heart he touched.” In another post, they expressed, “Reading your heartfelt messages fills us with both joy and tears.
It’s probable that Kylie Jenner didn’t attend the 2025 SAG Awards due to the passing of Jesus Guerrero. Yet, she has not publicly explained why she was not present at the event.
