In a closely bonded seaside neighborhood, three households face challenges beyond economic instability and political change. The ties that bind their relationships – be they familial or friendly – are being stretched to their limits as well.

In some marriages, such as that of Spencer’s Tony Bisset and Judy (portrayed by Radha Mitchell), we see cracks beginning to show. Tony’s decision to accept a job that jeopardizes his family’s well-being without informing his wife has caused her to doubt him. This deception, coupled with the escalating tensions in their area, is making it increasingly difficult for them to maintain trust and harmony.
