Jeremy Allen White is playing Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming film Deliver Me From Nowhere.
A Film About The Making Of Nebraska
The film explores the process behind Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska,” a heartfelt and intimate project he recorded independently at home. Directed by Scott Cooper and adapted from Warren Zanes’ biography, it delves into the themes of solitude, anxiety, and creative liberation surrounding Nebraska. Rather than being a musical extravaganza, it serves as a character analysis, providing room for quiet moments, sorrow, and raw artistic expression.
The first teaser unveiled for “DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE” showcases Jeremy Allen White portraying the role of Bruce Springsteen. It will hit the big screens starting from October 24.

Jeremy Allen White’s Transformation For The Film
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for impressive performances, and Jeremy Allen White certainly delivers in his latest role as Bruce Springsteen. Unlike any other portrayal, this one digs deep – it’s not just about mimicking Springsteen’s voice or mannerisms; it’s about capturing his emotional core. I spent countless hours fine-tuning my voice to match the iconic singer’s tone, and I worked hand-in-hand with the director to bring out the subtler, intimate aspects of Springsteen that often go unnoticed amidst the public glare.
The Cast
In this production, Jeremy Strong is cast as Jon Landau, Springsteen’s long-term manager, while Paul Walter Hauser portrays Mike Batlan, the engineer. Gaby Hoffmann and Stephen Graham play Bruce Springsteen’s parents, and Odessa Young, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz complete the talented ensemble cast.
Bruce Springsteen’s Support
In a recent interview, it was revealed that Bruce Springsteen personally dropped by the set and granted his approval, but opted to keep a low profile during the more emotionally charged sequences. According to reports, he wished for Jeremy Allen White to have ample room to deliver his unique portrayal without undue influence. He explained that watching those poignant scenes would have been unbearably distressing, as they depict some of the bleakest periods in his personal history.
Deliver Me From Nowhere is set to premiere on October 24, 2025 in theaters.
