As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for fantasy and a soft spot for kick-ass female protagonists, I must say that the Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld trailer has got me utterly thrilled! The blend of Asian mythology, high school drama, and action-packed adventure is right up my alley.
Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming animated fantasy series “Jentry Chau vs. the Underworld,” produced by and starring executive producer Ali Wong. The show will be available for streaming on December 5, 2024.
The story revolves around Jentry Chau, a Chinese-American teenager residing in a small Texas town. Unbeknownst to her, she’s being pursued by a demon king due to the supernatural abilities she’s spent her life suppressing. With her great-aunt, an expert in weapons, and a jiangshi – an ancient Chinese hopping vampire – by her side, Jentry must now battle through a multitude of monsters while juggling the challenges of high school.
