The story revolves around Jentry Chau, a Chinese-American teenager residing in a small Texas town. To aid her in this perilous journey, she can rely on her great-aunt, an expert in weapons, and a jiangshi – an ancient Chinese hopping vampire. Jentry must now confront a multitude of monsters while managing the challenges of high school.
