As an avid fan of horror movies who has grown up watching the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” series, I couldn’t help but jump for joy upon hearing that Jennifer Love Hewitt is reprising her role as Julie James! It’s been quite a while since we last saw her on the big screen, and I can only imagine the chills and thrills her return will bring.
Following a casual agreement, Jennifer Love Hewitt has now confirmed her participation and is set to reprise her role in the upcoming remake of the horror film “I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Hewitt took to Instagram in a recent post to share a photo of herself in front of a mirror littered with post-it notes. In the caption, she joked that it was “never too late to go back,” and confirmed that her character Julie James will return for the movie.
The announcement arrives mere days following hints by Hewitt suggesting a possible return, though details remain scarce about the upcoming film installment. However, we can expect it to bring together several cast members from the initial movie once more.
