What else do we know about Die, My Love?

By the Given Timeframe, The Tale of “Die, My Love” Unfolds in Rural America, Providing a Sketch of a Woman (Lawrence) Overwhelmed by Love and Insanity.

In this film, Robert Pattinson portrays Lawrence’s husband, whereas Michael Kenneth Williams takes on the role of her romantic interest. Alongside them are acting veterans Sissy Spacek and Nick Nolte as part of the ensemble cast.

Ramsay collaborated with Enda Walsh on writing the screenplay. Lawrence Ciarrocchi, along with his sister Justine, are responsible for producing the film under Excellent Cadaver. Additionally, Martin Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, and Black Label Media are also involved in production. Notably, it’s Black Label Media that is funding this project.

Excellent Cadaver expressed that it’s hard to express the experience of observing Lynne Ramsay create, as she’s truly unique.

In 1999, Ramsay started her journey as a feature film director with Ratcatcher. Since then, she has directed Morvern Callar (released in 2002), We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), and most recently, You Were Never Really Here (2017) featuring Joaquin Phoenix.

According to Ramsay, the movie “Die, My Love” deals with themes of mental health and marital breakdown, but he finds it incredibly humorous – at least that’s his perspective. However, being from Glasgow, his sense of humor is quite dark.

A release date for Die, My Love has not yet been announced.
