Jared Leto Went by Ares on Set of Tron: Ares, Says Jeff Bridges

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for sci-fi and action-packed stories, I’m beyond excited about the upcoming release of “Tron: Ares.” The unique approach Jared Leto takes to his roles is legendary, and it seems he’s taken it to another level with this project.

In the film “Tron: Ares”, Jared Leto reportedly employed his unique acting techniques, as confirmed by his co-star, Jeff Bridges.

During an interview on SiriusXM’s Literally! with Rob Lowe, Bridges discussed their initial encounter and learning that Leto had adopted the persona of his character, Ares, rather than using his real name.

What did Bridges say about Leto’s method acting?

Previously, I hadn’t crossed paths with him. When I asked, ‘What can I expect?’, it was because he was a fellow show producer, an ardent admirer of the original, dedicating a decade to its development. Upon my arrival, you know how each production set has its unique atmosphere? That’s exactly what I found here. Intrigued, I inquired about Jared, his work style. They replied, ‘He’s okay. You see, we affectionately call him Ares,’ they added, which piqued my interest.

In addition to Leto and Bridges, who is returning as Kevin Flynn, the cast of Tron: Ares also includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and Sarah Desjardins.
