Jani Master case: Megham Karukkatha choreographer sent to police custody in sexual assault case by court

As a lifestyle expert with over three decades of experience in the entertainment industry, I have witnessed both the glamorous and gritty sides of stardom. The recent allegations against Jani Master are not only shocking but also deeply concerning, given his prominence and influence in the industry.

Known as “Jani Master,” Shaik Jani Basha has been making headlines for unfortunate reasons. This well-known choreographer is facing accusations of sexually assaulting a 21-year-old female colleague on numerous occasions. In a recent development, the Ranga Reddy court approved a four-day police custody for Jani Master on September 25th. This decision was taken to enable the police to delve deeper into the case by questioning the choreographer directly.

According to an article in Hans India, I, as a detainee at Charlapalli Jail, will be questioned by the police regarding some serious allegations against me. The authorities suspect that this interrogation within custody might provide additional insights into the horrific actions I’m alleged to have committed. Notably, I was apprehended in Goa following accusations of long-term sexual harassment made by a young woman who worked with me.

Originally, the renowned choreographer who received a national award was subsequently taken to Hyderabad and held in judicial custody for 14 days. Additionally, the investigation uncovered accusations that Jani Master had physically abused a minor, which led to charges against him under POCSO as well.

In addition to violations under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, the Pushpa choreographer is facing charges for rape (under section 376), criminal intimidation (section 506), and voluntarily causing hurt (section 323) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to Telugu 360 reports, it’s expected that Ayesha, the wife of Jani Master, will be arrested shortly due to accusations of attacking the victim. In a recent interview with TV9, she stated her husband’s innocence and expressed, “The claim that the woman was harassed at age 16 is appalling. There’s no basis for it. If the girl can provide proof, I will concede Master’s guilt.

Furthermore, Ayesha claimed there might be a bigger scheme at play to harm Jani Master’s public image, suggesting a deeper level of deceit.
