The following day after Shaik Jani Basha faced charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO), in relation to a sexual misconduct allegation made by his female coworker, the choreographer was apprehended in Goa on September 19th.
On September 18th, the Special Operations Team of Cyberabad arrested Master Jani. Later that day, he was transferred to Hyderabad. In due course, the acclaimed choreographer will appear before the Hyderabad court. It’s worth noting that the Narsingi police, operating under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad commissionerate, charged Master Jani under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act on Wednesday.
The debate gained prominence as a fellow dance artist, aged 21, alleged that the choreographer had sexually assaulted her multiple times. To support her claim, she presented a 40-page handwritten account detailing her experiences to the Telangana State Women’s Commission.
In my fervent passion as a devoted fan, I can’t help but share this heartrending news. As per reports in Indian Today, it appears that Jani Master has been embroiled in a scandal. Allegedly, he began abusing a young woman when she was just 16 years old, and the police have added the POCSO clause to the case. The gravity of this situation is not lost on me, and my heart goes out to the victim.
Currently, there’s no response yet from Jani Master regarding the sexual harassment accusations levied against him. According to recent updates, he appears to have temporarily withdrawn from his movie projects.

His latest successful song was “Aayi Nahi” from Stree 2, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
