In my gaming world, I’m all fired up about Jaida Parker, the up-and-coming WWE NXT sensation! Recently, there’s been some chatter about her signature move, Hipnotic. But hey, I’ve got faith in this fan favorite, and I reckon she’s got what it takes to become the future NXT Women’s Champion!
Jaida Parker, new to WWE since 2022, has progressively climbed up the ladder and secured her position on the NXT roster following participation in live shows and NXT Level Up. She’s now been given a chance to challenge for a single title, taking on Stephanie Vaquer for the women’s championship next week.
With her sights set on claiming her inaugural title, Parker persists in employing her signature maneuver, the Hipnotic – a swift hip-driven strike during runs – to clinch victories. Yet, some spectators express dissatisfaction with this move, finding it less than convincing.
In her interview on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, Jaida Parker justified her finishing move, tracing its origins to soccer and brushing off any criticism. She asserted, “To put it respectfully, if I were to employ another one, I wouldn’t be Jaida Parker. The Hipnotic is Jaida Parker. So, I acknowledge that people don’t care for it, they don’t grasp its essence. Well, you’re not me, and you won’t appreciate it the way I do, but let me assure you, if I were to challenge you right here and then rush at you like I do with my opponents, you wouldn’t be able to rise.
She went on to say, “They can chat as much as they’d like, ‘It’s not this, it’s not that.’ I take note, but I don’t necessarily have to heed it. It just adds more fuel to the fire, but my Hipnotic skill comes from soccer. If you want a real hip-check in soccer, I can send you soaring up to 30 yards, if we’re being truthful, due to that kind of momentum. Jaida Parker stands by ‘Hipnotic’ finisher despite WWE fan backlash
During the same interview, Jaida Parker suggested enhancing her Hypnotic finisher, yet she emphasized that she has no intention of altering it. She explained, “It’s fine as is, and I’m not going to change my finisher. I’m not. I might make it better, but I’m not changing it. I can only improve from here, and there are so many who say, ‘You need this, you need that.’
She added, “I believe it’s best if you focus on your affairs. If you prefer to encounter similar situations on your own, that’s your choice… I wouldn’t call it unkind (she chuckled)… My methods are what suit me. If they don’t fit for you, that’s not my concern.
It’s intriguing to observe whether Parker’s successful defense against critics will lead to her claiming her inaugural title victory with the aid of the Hypnotic finisher in the upcoming week.
