Jacquemus Goes Bananas for Jon Gries in New Campaign

Jacquemus has recently revealed its latest buzzworthy advertising project, and this time they’ve gone tropically wild for actor Jon Gries, famously known for his role in “The White Lotus.” In the new campaign, which is filled with bananas, Gries, who portrays the wealthy yet questionable character Greg Hunt, strips off his shirt to showcase his toned chest.

As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that the 67-year-old actor is the leading figure in the latest humorous advertising venture of a renowned French brand. In these fresh visuals, you’ll find me lounging casually on a golf course, adorned with banana-themed attire ranging from boxers to relaxed sweatpants, trousers, and even tailored suits. I’m also spotted leaning against a banana-yellow car and cruising around in a cart loaded with bunches of bananas. In other parts of the campaign, you’ll find me playfully seated on a wheelbarrow full of tulips, flashing a sign that reads “I LOVE BANANAS” while sporting my banana-emblazoned boxers. It’s a fun, fruitful journey!

A while ago, a French fashion designer made it clear he’s fascinated by bananas. During his La Croisière show in January, he showcased a dress with a banana print. Recently, this banana theme was carried over to his newly opened Los Angeles store, where visitors were welcomed by a banana-themed market stand and decorations. The designer, Gries, attended the store opening along with Cole Sprouse, Daniel Roseberry, and others. Check out the campaign images above.
