Jacob Fatu Breaks Character After Dominant WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Performance

At the WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Jacob Fatu, who’s been building a reputation during his solo career, seized the limelight. After Solo Sikoa lost to Roman Reigns on the initial night of WWE RAW on Netflix, it seems like Fatu is readying for the main stage as a single competitor, sending clear messages to all in recent times.

Moving from his surprise attack on Braun Strowman during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event to his powerful display at the Royal Rumble, Fatu is swiftly carving out a reputation as one of the strongest performers in the roster. In the Royal Rumble, he made an entrance at position 12 and managed to last for an impressive 24 minutes and 16 seconds, eliminating Rey Mysterio, Chad Gable, Jimmy Uso, and Andrade along the way.

Following his victory over Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Fatu encountered Strowman once more at the Royal Rumble. Yet, this time, it was Strowman who knocked Fatu out of the competition. Despite this defeat, Fatu momentarily let go of his character backstage following his impressive performance in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

He experienced a heartfelt moment privately backstage following the victory of his cousin, Jey Uso, in the Men’s Royal Rumble bout.

At WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Jey Uso clinched a chance to become World Champion by being the last man standing in the Men’s Royal Rumble match after eliminating John Cena. Interestingly, even though Jacob Fatu had been at odds with Jey in the Bloodline storyline, he surprisingly set aside his character to offer his cousin a heartfelt congratulations.

Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso’s twin brother, posted a backstage video on Instagram showing Jey rejoicing with his son. In a touching scene, Jacob Fatu, clad in Jey’s “Yeet” shirt, hugged him and adorned him with the Ula Fala necklace.
