As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating the intricate worlds of Assassin’s Creed, I must admit, the idea of Assassin’s Creed Invictus is both exhilarating and perplexing. The franchise has always been about stealth, strategy, and immersive storytelling, so the concept of a round-based elimination game feels like a stark departure.
The Assassin’s Creed series seems overdue for a transformation, and merely alternating between vast open-world settings such as Valhalla and conventional games like Mirage isn’t sufficient. There’s hope that the upcoming multiplayer Assassin’s Creed game, Invictus, could be the solution.
