As a die-hard fan of Vijay Deverakonda, I am absolutely thrilled about his upcoming film, VD12! The news that it will be a two-part series has me on cloud nine. I remember the excitement and anticipation that surrounded Baida rojgar (Baaghi) and Arjun Reddy’s release, and this feels like deja vu all over again!
Currently, Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for the launch of his upcoming project, provisionally named VD12. This film, led by director Gowtham Tinnanuri, appears to be an action-packed drama. As anticipation builds around this venture, producer Naga Vamsi has disclosed a significant development regarding the movie.
In a recent interview, it was disclosed that the upcoming series VD12 will consist of two distinct parts, with each part telling its own unique tale. Consequently, these segments will function as standalone films. At present, approximately 80% of filming for VD12 has been wrapped up. However, there’s a possibility that the release date might be pushed back from March 28 if Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu is scheduled for release on the same day.
In conversation about the movie, Naga Vamsi commented, as reported by 123Telugu, “VD12 is bound to astound audiences with its grandeur. Some people think it’s a modest production under wraps, but it’s actually quite substantial and will offer a spectacular viewing experience on the big screen.
Earlier, there were reports stating that Vijay Deverakonda got a minor injury during filming an intense action scene for VD12. However, instead of taking a rest, he decided to press on with his work, sticking to the planned schedule.
Considering the challenges faced in past projects and his recent comeback following an extended hiatus, Vijay is remarkably committed and concentrated on his movie’s preparation.
The production of VD12 is moving rapidly and nearing its end. It was earlier announced that Satyadev would be part of the cast. Now, 123Telugu has officially disclosed that he will take on a significant role in this film. Meanwhile, Bhagyashree Borse may star as the main female character.
The report suggests that Satyadev’s role in the movie is expected to display some unfavorable aspects, while his interactions with Vijay Deverakonda are likely to be one of the key attractions of the film.
To put it simply, if you’re not familiar, Satyadev garnered recognition during the pandemic period due to a string of successful releases. His most recent movie, titled “Zebra,” had a moderate showing at the box office and is now available for streaming on the online platform Aha.
