The film titled “Kingdom,” featuring Vijay Deverakonda as the main character, was initially scheduled for a July 4, 2025 release. But, it appears that there are whispers of another delay in its release date.

As reported, the upcoming film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri is expected to premiere on July 25, 2025. The reason for this postponement is that some scenes are being reshot. Nonetheless, a formal announcement regarding this matter is still pending.

Discussing the film “Kingdom,” it’s described as a thrilling spy action movie and marks the beginning of a planned two-part series. Reports suggest that the film boasts an impressive cast, featuring Bhagyashri Borse, Satyadev, Koushik Mahata, among others, in pivotal roles.

As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but be thrilled at the prospect of Anirudh Ravichander masterfully composing the melodies and symphonies for this upcoming film. The visual storytelling is entrusted to none other than Girish Gangadharan, who brought Jallikattu to life on screen, and the talented Jomon T. John. Lastly, the precision and rhythm of the narrative will be expertly handled by the skilled editor, Naveen Nooli. This creative team has me on the edge of my seat in anticipation!

Previously, the music director himself shared his initial thoughts about the action movie, stating, “I saw the film. It’s quite good. Exceptional.” Notably, the release of Kingdom was originally scheduled for May 30 this year, but it had to be delayed due to some ongoing work.

Lately, the actor from Arjun Reddy has been in the news following rumors that his girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna, subtly introduced him on Instagram. She posted photos of herself within his house on her social media platform.

On Vijay’s upcoming projects, it appears that he will collaborate with director Rahul Sankrityan of Shyam Singha Roy fame, for a film provisionally known as VD14. This historical production seems to unfold during the era of British colonial rule.

If the reports are true, it appears that these actors will reunite for a movie, reminiscent of their roles in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), on the silver screen.

Additionally, Vijay will join forces with director Ravi Kiran Kola on a passionate action-drama, which is known for its thrilling, adrenaline-pumping fight scenes.
