Is Vijay Deverakonda joining Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 3 cast with Nani? Sukumar REACTS to rumors

The blockbuster series featuring Allu Arjun, known as the Pushpa franchise, has achieved incredible global success. With the anticipation running high, fans are excitedly looking forward to the third installment, titled “Pushpa 3: The Rampage.”

An intriguing twist at the end of Pushpa 2 has sparked curiosity among viewers about a shadowy character who made an appearance. This has led to numerous speculations regarding the actor who might be portraying this enigmatic role. While whispers suggest that Vijay Deverakonda or Nani could join Pushpa 3, director Sukumar shed some light on the topic during a recent awards function in Chennai.

Instead of revealing any details, he opted to maintain an air of enigma by offering a puzzling reply when questioned about the movie. According to Gulte, his statement was, “The Sukumar you’ll meet in 2025 won’t know anything about it either, but perhaps the Sukumar from 2026 will be able to provide an answer.

In simpler terms, Sukumar’s comment put an end to the rumors about Vijay Deverakonda and Nani but suggested that there might be more information disclosed at a later time. Despite his casual tone, it seemed like the director was purposely keeping things secretive.

Earlier, movie producer Ravi Shankar disclosed some details about Pushpa 3 and its possible launch date during a previous gathering. He affirmed that the film is being worked on, yet it will require some time before production commences. Mr. Shankar added that actor Allu Arjun is occupied with two ongoing ventures; one alongside director Atlee, while the other is with Trivikram Srinivas.

The production of these movies is estimated to last approximately two years, and Pushpa 3 won’t start until all current commitments are fulfilled. Ravi Shankar clarified, “Pushpa 3 is indeed happening! Currently, Allu Arjun is working on two films under the direction of Atlee Kumar and another with Trivikram Srinivas. Pushpa 3 will follow these two projects, and it’s likely to take at least two years for him to complete them.

Additionally, it was pointed out that director Sukumar has another movie featuring Ram Charan on his plate right now. This project is estimated to last at least two years before he can move onto Pushpa 3. Given these timelines, we can expect the production for Pushpa 3 to start approximately 2 and a half years from now.

Ravi Shankar reassured fans that the team intends to speed up their progress. Contrary to past hold-ups, they’re determined to finish the movie within a span of three years, with the scheduled premiere in 2028.
