Is There an Everybody Still Hates Chris Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

As a huge fan of the original Everybody Hates Chris sitcom, I can’t contain my excitement over the announcement of its animated revival, titled Everybody Still Hates Chris. The fact that Chris Rock and some of the original cast members are involved in this project makes it even more special for me.

The animated reboot of Everybody Hates Chris, originally a UPN (later The CW) live-action sitcom, has been officially announced. Fans are eagerly asking when this new version will be released.

1. Here’s what we currently know about the release dates for Everybody Still Hates Chris. We’ll keep you updated on its official launch.

Is there an Everybody Still Hates Chris release date?

Everybody Still Hates Chris’ release date could arrive by late 2024.

At San Diego’s Comic-Con event, Comedy Central presented an initial peek at the animated reboot of Everybody Hates Chris, now titled Everybody Still Hates Chris. Sanjay Shah, a key producer on the show, shared his thoughts in a statement: “I initially sought this role for access to a Chris Rock comedy performance, but instead we produced something we’re proud of, staying faithful to the original series we all cherished.” (as reported by ABC News)

1. “Everybody Hates Chris,” produced by Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi, is a humorous portrayal of Rock’s adolescence during the late ’80s. Initially airing on UPN from 2005 to 2006, it later moved to The CW for its remaining three seasons until 2009. In the upcoming series, Rock will take on an executive producer role and reappear as the narrator.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold, who brought the beloved characters of Julius and Rochelle, Chris’ parents, to life in the original live-action series, will continue their roles by voicing them in the upcoming animated reboot. The talented cast also includes Tim Johnson Jr., stepping into the shoes of Chris, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Drew, Ozioma Akagha as Tonya, and Gunnar Sizemore as Greg. I can hardly wait to see how these familiar voices breathe new life into our favorite characters!

1. The provisional launch date we’ve mentioned is our best guess, considering the data available at the moment I am writing this.

Where is Everybody Still Hates Chris coming out?

Everybody Still Hates Chris is anticipated to come out on Comedy Central and Paramount Plus.

1. Following the reveal at SDCC, Rock expressed his enthusiasm by saying, “I can’t wait to share a humorous aspect of my childhood with everyone.” Meanwhile, Crews and Arnold, attending the SDCC panel, shared their excitement about reprising their roles.
