Is The Judgment Day Breaking? Finn Balor Teases a Split

As a seasoned WWE fan with years of emotional investment under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of unease watching Finn Balor’s current predicament. The man who once graced us with his otherworldly Demon alter ego now seems to be struggling within the ranks of The Judgment Day. His losses and growing tension with Liv Morgan have left me, as well as many fans, wondering if this is a new chapter in Balor’s career or the beginning of the end for our favorite demon slayer.

On WWE TV, Finn Balor, head of The Judgment Day, has encountered difficulties with fellow group members for several weeks now. Viewers have picked up on these tensions, most notably between Balor and Dominik Mysterio as well as Liv Morgan.

Last month, a heated exchange ensued between Dominik and Balor following his mockery of Balor’s defeat to Damian Priest. However, tensions eventually subsided. Regrettably for Balor, he suffered two major losses recently. The first was at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he challenged Gunther, Damian Priest, and contended for the World Heavyweight Championship. Losing this match prevented him from seizing the title opportunity. Later on, Balor was spotted expressing doubts about why The Judgment Day didn’t extend support to him during his struggle.

In their recent match, The War Raiders emerged victorious against Balor and JD McDonagh, claiming the World Tag Team Titles. Over the last fortnight, Balor’s professional journey has encountered some major hurdles. Moreover, he has been butting heads with Liv Morgan, the current Women’s World Heavyweight Champion.

This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw a deepening conflict, with communication between the involved parties happening indirectly through Raquel Rodriguez and JD McDonagh. With whispers growing about whether Balor might betray his Judgment Day team, the latest clue came during their Christmas celebration, where Balor’s discontent was palpable.

Amidst their own internal strife, The Judgment Day group participated, donning pajamas and black Santa hats, beaming with joy. Yet, their head, Finn Balor, seemed disheartened in his latest Instagram post.
