Is Thaman S upset about being replaced by DSP in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2? Music composer breaks silence

It may surprise you to learn that Thaman S was originally hired to create the music for Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, but ultimately the team decided that his work wasn’t quite what they were looking for. Instead, the background score was given to Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS. Fans of the movie have particularly appreciated the final result.

Thaman S revealed that he collaborated with Sukumar on Pushpa 2 for approximately ten days, crafting three distinct music pieces. Despite positive feedback from the team, the final background score responsibilities fell to Devi Sri Prasad and Sam CS, as per the director’s choice.

For ten days straight, I labored on Pushpa 2, creating three distinct musical pieces. My contributions were well-received by the team, but ultimately they opted for DSP and Sam CS to handle the background music. This decision was made by the film’s director.” (The Game Changer composer explained.)

Previously, at the title and teaser unveiling ceremony for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaj, Thaman S discussed his involvement in Allu Arjun’s upcoming movie. He revealed that while he is part of the film, he isn’t responsible for the entire music composition. Instead, he stated, “I am not the sole composer for this film. Other directors are also working on it. I saw their work and was blown away by its quality; it was truly inspiring.

In terms of work, Thaman S is presently creating music for the movie titled “The Raja Saab.” This film stars Prabhas, who is said to be portraying two distinct roles. Alongside him are Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. The villain in this storyline is played by the well-known Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt.

Beyond his role in the Prabhas movie, he’s currently involved in the project titled “OG” starring Pawan Kalyan. Additionally, music composer Thaman is anticipated to collaborate once more with Nandamuri Balakrishna for his upcoming production “Akhanda 2: Thaandavam”.

Previously, this composer has been involved in significant productions such as “Game Changer” with Ram Charan, “Guntur Kaaram” starring Mahesh Babu, and “Daaku Maharaaj,” a collaboration with Balakrishna.
