Is Pinhead Leaving Dead By Daylight? Fans Fear Iconic Killer’s Departure!

Fans of Dead By Daylight can anticipate some exciting developments in March. It appears a well-liked Limited Time Mode is making a comeback, along with additional Bloodpoints. Moreover, we’re finally getting the Public Test Build for Chapter 35. Furthermore, leaks hint at a month-long sale for one of the game’s numerous licensed rogues. However, this has sparked worry within the community that another legendary killer might depart from Dead By Daylight.

Dead By Daylight leak raises possibility of killer leaving

On the DBDLeaks Discord, Aricarna has disclosed that from March 4th to April 4th, there will be a month-long sale for Hellraiser merchandise, particularly Pinheads’ cosmetics. Additionally, a Hellraiser package including Pinhead and cosmetics will be available for 1393 Auric Cells.

Aricarna suggests that this sale might indicate Pinhead is leaving the game, but it doesn’t necessarily mean Hellraiser will depart. The trustworthy leaker points out that there were similar situations with Stranger Things and Attack on Titan before they were taken out of the game.

From a gamer’s perspective, as of now, I haven’t heard back from Behaviour Interactive regarding the recent rumors and leaks. It’s speculated that an official announcement about the potential sale could drop on March 3rd, offering some clarity from the developers. However, there’s also a chance they might save the announcement for March 4th, when the rumored sale is set to begin. Fingers crossed!

Reddit users have expressed their concerns about the potential departure of Pinhead, as they remember how licensed chapters like Stranger Things were taken out previously only to reappear later. However, unlike Stranger Things which returned in 2023, the Attack on Titan skin collection was removed in 2023 and has yet to make a comeback.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my concerns about Pinhead potentially departing from the game world. There seems to be some tension between Behaviour Interactive (BHVR) and the original creator of Hellraiser, Clive Barker, which might be the reason behind this speculation. It’s been mentioned that BHVR pursued the Hellraiser intellectual property while it was under a holding company, and this move took place just before the rights were due to revert back to their original owners. This twist of events has left many fans like myself hoping for a swift resolution that will keep Pinhead in our favorite games.

There’s been some talk circulating that Hellraiser might exit DBD, and the reason behind it seems to be that Pinhead is currently on sale at half-price for an entire month. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that BeHaviour will clarify this situation soon so we can either put our worries to rest or have a definitive answer one way or another.
