As an ardent fan of Nani, I can’t help but admire his candor and integrity, qualities that truly set him apart in the world of cinema. His recent comments about the inconsistency in release dates for Telugu films resonate deeply with me as a viewer who eagerly awaits each new project from this exceptional talent.
In a recent conversation with Gulte, Nani expressed his thoughts on the frequent delays in release dates for movies within the Telugu film industry. In essence, he criticized Telugu producers, particularly those handling big-budget productions, for causing these postponements.
During the interview, the actor expressed that it would be troublesome for numerous individuals if there is persistent uncertainty about when a movie will be released and its official release date announced. It’s not merely an issue of personal satisfaction to guarantee the film’s on-time release; rather, delaying big movies could lead to financial losses for many people and potentially impact their livelihoods.
Following multiple shifts in release dates for films, particularly those in the Telugu film industry, the actor spoke up. This series of changes has left both the audience and I rather perplexed.
Additionally, it’s been reported that Nani has been in the spotlight following his comments on the ongoing dispute involving actors Arshad Warsi and Prabhas. In a recent interview, Nani expressed, “Why are we giving so much attention to an insignificant issue?” suggesting a dismissive stance.
The actor explained that his remark was misconstrued due to a brief video clip shared online. He also noted that his original statement was distorted, causing it to lose its intended significance.
Additionally, the actor admitted, “Indeed, I made a mistake with my choice of words. The most important action here is acknowledging and accepting one’s remorse,” and admitted that his response in the situation was inappropriate.
Moving forward to Nani’s upcoming film, he will be appearing in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which serves as his second collaboration with director Vivek Athreya. This movie, scheduled for release on August 29, 2024, revolves around a police officer who is notorious for causing trouble and adopting sinister methods. In response to this, Surya – a man grappling with multiple personalities and temper issues – steps in to handle the situation.
On Sundays through Fridays, he maintains a composed and tranquil demeanor, yet suppressing his rage instead of letting it go. However, during this time, he meticulously records the names of those he intends to retaliate against. Come Saturday, he carries out his vengeance on these individuals, which seems to explain the title’s significance.
Aside from Nani, the movie also has actors SJ Suryah and Priyanka Arul Mohan in lead roles.
