Lately, the production company behind the movie Marco, Cubes Entertainments, addressed a fan’s question regarding a potential sequel through their social media platform.
In reply, an representative from Cube Entertainments stated that they currently hold the rights for the film starring Unni Mukundan, and at this time, they have no intention of giving or allowing others access to these rights.
The ongoing talks about Marco 2 suggest that it could develop into a successful film series as a whole, they emphasized.
We appreciate all the tremendous love and support you’ve shown for Marco. Rest assured, conversations about the Marco series are ongoing. It’s important to know that Cubes Entertainments retains all rights to the Marco franchise. We strongly feel that the Marco story has great promise, and at this time we aren’t considering transferring or sharing these rights.
Unni Mukundan’s response on Marco 2 plans
The creators’ reaction arrives after it’s been made clear by Unni Mukundan that the arrangements for the sequel have been canceled.
On June 15th, the actor answered a fan’s question regarding the release of Marco 2.
Originally, the actor from Get Set Baby said, “I’m sorry, but I won’t be moving forward with the Marco series anymore due to excessive negativity surrounding it. I aim to offer something larger and more impressive than Marco instead. Thank you for your support and positivity. Here’s to more good things!
It’s yet unclear if Marco 2 will be created, and it’s possible that the thrilling action movie could be manufactured without the involvement of Unni Mukundan directly.
