The Levi-James romance seems to be on rocky ground, but let’s hope they can navigate through it like surgeons navigating an artery during a tricky operation.
In the world of Grey’s Anatomy, their romantic involvement between Levi and James didn’t wait long to blossom. However, the real challenge lies in whether this relationship will succeed. It’s important to note that Levi has a strong stance against infidelity.

The initial scene of Grey’s Anatomy showed Levi attempting, but failing, to avoid James. He confided in Jo about discovering a wedding album in James’s home, which poses a problem for their growing relationship as Levi won’t tolerate being with someone who might be unfaithful.

Indeed, Levi did spend a significant part of the episode in a helicopter, attempting to save a young girl’s life and leg. However, it’s important to note that he wasn’t constantly fleeing from James whenever possible. He did have his moments of doing so, but these instances were noteworthy enough to suggest that he might not be fully prepared for a relationship yet. His communication skills, in particular, require some improvement.
Thankfully, James has shown a readiness to strive for the progression of his relationship with Levi. Eventually, he succeeded in having conversations with him.
Is James cheating on his husband?
As a gamer putting myself in the shoes of James, I spilled the beans about stumbling upon an album that stirred memories of my past. Given how intricately the show had been developing this storyline, it was no surprise that there were whispers of infidelity. However, let me clarify that my husband passed away a few years back. The emotional attachment to him is still palpable, which explains why that album would be out in the open. Anyone getting involved with me should know about this part of my history.
James confessed that he wasn’t sure when was the appropriate moment to discuss it, given that he was still navigating the newness of their relationship, as he cherished his partner deeply.
Eventually, Levi acknowledged his suspicion that James was dishonest, and it’s wonderful that James didn’t take offense to this. It seems logical that such a suspicion might arise in his mind initially. However, I find it puzzling as to why he would think “deceased spouse” first.
Although it was a sweet scene, I can’t help but question its longevity. In addition, Beltran encouraged Levi that he would excel in pediatrics following his compassionate interaction with the young girl. Pediatrics seems to be his destiny, and there’s still time for him. He merely needs a bit of time to complete a research paper, and she offers an ideal chance for him. However, the catch is that it’s located in Texas. Will James decide to relocate to Texas to explore this fresh connection, or has this potential romance already come to an end before it even started?
