Elon Musk has refuted rumors about him leaving Dogecoin (DOGE), stating clearly that he is not stepping down from his role. Contrary to a Politico report, Musk’s resignation is not imminent due to the 130-day restriction on his special government position. Instead, both Musk and the White House have confirmed that he will continue in his position until all his objectives are accomplished.

On Wednesday, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, declared that Elon Musk and President Trump have both publicly asserted that once Elon completes his extraordinary work at Dogecoin, he will step down from public service as a special government employee. However, Musk refuted these claims, labeling them “fake news” on the platform X (formerly Twitter).

As a gamer, I’ve gotta say, Elon Musk is a game-changer in the tech world, and even Donald Trump recognized his contributions this week. He put it like this: “He’s got a massive empire to manage… at some stage he’ll have to return. I’d hang on to him as long as I could.” (As reported by The Hill)

As a fervent supporter, I’ve noticed a varied reaction from the public towards DOGE. Surveys indicate that my admiration for Elon Musk and this project is not universally shared. Critics have voiced apprehensions regarding Musk’s role, arguing potential conflicts of interest stemming from his companies’ dealings with the government due to their contracts.
