As a long-time BTS ARMY member with countless hours spent watching and rewatching their content, I am beyond excited for the return of Run BTS and the debut of Run Jin! Having grown up with these talented individuals, it’s like welcoming an old friend back into my life.


BTS bandmate Jin is set to star in his own spin-off variety show titled “Run Jin“. This show is a branch from their original variety project, “Run BTS“, and a sneak peek of the series has been released on Bangtan TV, the group’s official YouTube channel, featuring Jin as its oldest member.

The acclaimed K-pop band BTS, nominated for Grammys, revealed their playful and disorganized aspects through the variety series “Run BTS.” Fans, known as Bangtan ARMY, caught a glimpse of the group’s journey to stardom during this show. From modest tasks on a shoestring budget to taking over an entire auditorium for a “Run BTS” challenge, the success of the band is evident in the most recent seasons of “Run BTS.”

Run BTS, a widely enjoyed game show, spans across three seasons and boasts more than 156 episodes. In anticipation of their military enlistment dates, the group members announced a hiatus for Run BTS. Yet, they assured fans that the show will return at a future time.

BTS Jin launches new variety show RUN JIN: Is it similar to RUN BTS?

BTS member Jin is coming back with a fresh series titled “Run Jin,” scheduled to debut on August 13, 9 p.m. KST (August 13, 8 a.m. ET and 5:30 p.m. IST). This new show will follow the same weekly schedule as “Run BTS” and air every Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST. The premiere episode will be available on August 13 at the mentioned times in each respective time zone.

In the initial trailer for Run Jin titled “Jin’s Journey: A Path of Trials,” it becomes clear that Jin is eager to continue creating content for BTS fans following his discharge from military service. At 31 years old, Jin expresses his desire not to take a break.

The teaser hints at the fact that following Run Jin won’t be a walk in the park for members, since the initial episode might feature them trekking. Jin’s manager announces that they’ll embark on Run Jin by setting off towards Hallasan mountain.

Additionally, a new variety show from BTS titled “Are You Sure?!” is set to premiere in August as well. The Disney+ travel series starring Jungkook and Jimin, also called “Are You Sure?!”, will make its debut on August 8. This exciting project consists of ten episodes.

In the preview for Are You Sure?!, viewers catch a sneak peek into the tri-city journey of the dynamic duo, exploring New York (USA), Jeju Island (South Korea), and Sapporo (Japan).
