Oh boy, as a die-hard fan who has been eagerly waiting for Pushpa 2: The Rule since the first installment left me craving for more, I can barely contain my excitement! With the movie’s release date being moved up to December 5, 2024, it feels like Christmas came early. And hearing about a potential third part? Absolutely mind-blowing!
The highly-anticipated sequel to Allu Arjun’s movie “Pushpa 2: The Rule” will hit theaters sooner than expected, as it has been moved up to December 5, 2024. In addition, during a recent event for the film, the producer hinted at possible plans for a third installment.
At the event discussion, someone inquired about a potential sequel, and the producer mentioned that Pushpa 2 concludes on a note setting up for a third installment. He also expressed optimism regarding the success of the second part and his certainty that Pushpa 3 will follow suit.
It’s worth noting that the film producers moved up the release date from December 6th to December 5th, pleasing fans of Allu Arjun since they get to watch the movie a day earlier. Originally, the plan was to debut the movie on August 15, but due to incomplete work, it was pushed back to this December, marking a delay from its initial release.
In the future, Pushpa 2: The Rule will serve as the follow-up to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, both directed by Sukumar. The character of Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler, will once again be played by Allu Arjun. Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role as his romantic interest, while Fahadh Faasil portrays the primary antagonist alongside an array of intimidating adversaries.
In this upcoming sequel, it’s exciting to think about the clash between the two prominent actors, given their past collaborations on screen. Besides Allu Arjun, FaFaa, and Rashmika, the movie boasts an impressive cast including Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari, and several others in pivotal roles.
It’s being buzzed that Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor might make a brief appearance in the upcoming movie for a dance scene, much like how Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined forces with Allu Arjun for the hit song “Oo Antava” back in 2021.
The film’s creators plan to release the trailer for the movie that will premiere on December 5, 2024, sometime during November.
