What is Ironheart about?
After the occurrences depicted in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Television’s Ironheart presents a conflict between technology and magic. The story revolves around Riri Williams (played by Dominique Thorne), a bright young inventor from Chicago who is eager to make her presence felt worldwide. However, as she endeavors to achieve her goals, she encounters Parker Robbins, an enigmatic and alluring character known as The Hood (portrayed by Anthony Ramos).
As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that alongside Dominique Thorne, the talented ensemble of Ironheart features Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White. Each one brings their unique brilliance to this highly anticipated series!
Chinaka Hodge leads the writing team on the show, with Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes handling direction for each episode. Additionally, Hodge holds an executive producer role alongside Ryan Coogler, as well as Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler in this capacity.
Starting from June 24, 2025, the initial three installments of Ironheart will debut on Disney+. The series will consist of six episodes in total, with details yet to be confirmed regarding whether the remaining three episodes will be released all at once or distributed weekly.
At the moment, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is available for streaming on Disney+. It’s rumored that Marvel and Coogler are considering a third Black Panther film, potentially featuring Denzel Washington in the cast. However, it remains uncertain if Thorne’s Riri will appear in this upcoming movie as well.
