iPhone 16e Is Missing a Surprising Key Apple Feature

Apple recently introduced a budget-friendly addition to their iPhone series, named the “iPhone 16e“. Unlike its more expensive counterparts in the lineup, this phone promises impressive performance and battery life, along with Apple Intelligence. However, it won’t include the popular MagSafe feature. Pre-orders for the iPhone 16e will open on Friday, with a public release scheduled for February 28th.

Apple releases iPhone 16e without MagSafe feature

It’s been made known that the upcoming iPhone 16e model won’t include MagSafe compatibility, unlike its counterpart iPhone 16 models.

As a gamer putting on my tech-savvy hat, I can’t help but notice that the official technical specs of the iPhone 16e don’t mention MagSafe. Frankly, it’s surprising because MagSafe has become an essential part of many iPhone users’ experiences. It seems Apple hasn’t shared their reasoning behind leaving out MagSafe in the iPhone 16e yet.

People on social media showed their confusion about the absence of MagSafe in the iPhone 16e, with one user asking, “Why is there no MagSafe on the iPhone 16e, Apple?” (using the hashtag #iPhone16e)

“No way, the 16e doesn’t support MagSafe,” another fan wrote.

Even though there’s no official iPhone 16e, various external retailers such as Spigen are offering MagSafe compatible cases for it on their platforms.

The iPhone 16e has the following features:

  • 128, 256, 512 GB Capacity
