Ever since I updated my iPhone to iOS 18.5, I’ve been noticing a substantial drop in battery life. However, Apple assures us that this update is primarily aimed at enhancing security features, such as rectifying a core Bluetooth problem and preventing unintended app closures.
As a devoted Apple user, I’ve been noticing something quite concerning since the iOS 18.5 update. A full week post-update, my battery life seems to be depleting at an alarming rate. A different user stated, “Upon upgrading to iOS 18.5 on both of my devices, it appears that my battery level dropped from 87% to 83%. I’m unsure if this is typical, but shortly afterwards, the drain on my iPhone 15 Pro Max slowed down, while my iPhone 16 Pro Max experienced a slightly slower rate of charge after the update.
