In our recent chat, Milheim kicked off the conversation by mentioning Mark’s snazzy black and blue getup from Invincible Season 3 – a suit that’s been sparking comparisons to Spider-Man’s symbiote suit among fans. He even suggested that this new costume embodies a more challenging period in Mark’s life, hinting at a darker chapter unfolding.

In response, Kirkman clarified that the motivation for the fresh suit in Invincible Season 3 stemmed from “common themes within the comics industry.” He elaborated, “A key aspect of many superhero narratives is the character receiving a new costume.

Next, Kirkman continued discussing the concept, likening it to introducing a fresh outfit for Spider-Man. He explained, “Many tales stem from such transformations, and Spider-Man serves as an excellent illustration. The ominous shift that follows this change, resulting in Venom emerging as a formidable adversary, adds an intriguing twist to the lore of [Spider-Man].

Additionally, he mentioned that Mark’s narrative and convictions will see significant, valuable enhancements, evidently incorporated into his upcoming attire.

The next episode of Invincible Season 3 will be released on February 13.
