As per Jeff Sneider’s latest update from The InSneider newsletter, there are plans for Haley Bennett (known for Magazine Dreams) to headline the sixth installment of the renowned horror series. It is anticipated that Jacob Chase will direct this film, a fact previously mentioned by Sneider as well.

The franchise started with the 2011 movie Insidious, directed by James Wan. It was incredibly successful, garnering mostly favorable reviews from both critics and viewers while earning nearly $100 million at the box office. This success significantly boosted the careers of Wan and writer Leigh Whannell, as well as propelling Blumhouse Productions to new levels of achievement.
