Disney has officially revealed when “Inside Out 2” will be available on Disney+, marking the release of Pixar’s most recent successful animated film that continues the story from the 2015 Academy Award-winning movie.
The story resumes with Riley, now a teenager, as her inner world undergoes an unforeseen transformation, replacing the established emotions – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust – with a newcomer: Anxiety. The familiar team seems uncertain about this change, and it appears that Anxiety isn’t solo either.

When is the Inside Out 2 Disney+ release date?
Beginning this coming Wednesday, September 25th, Disney+ subscribers can stream the much-anticipated sequel to Inside Out – Inside Out 2! During its time in theaters, it raked in an impressive $1.675 billion globally, making it the highest-grossing animated film ever produced. To top it off, this movie is still highly praised on Rotten Tomatoes, boasting a Tomatometer rating of 91%.
In a new take, the director of Inside Out 2 is Kelsey Mann, with Meg LeFauve penning the script. The production is overseen by Mark Nielsen, while original director Pete Docter assumes an executive role. The sequel brings back familiar voices such as Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger. Additionally, we have Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust, Ayo Edebiri’s Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui, and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment joining the cast.
