Ingrid Andress Checking Into Rehab After Drunk National Anthem Performance

As a long-time fan of country music and live performances, I was looking forward to Ingrid Andress’ rendition of the National Anthem at MLB’s Home Run Derby. Her career has been on the rise, with multiple hits on the Billboard Hot 100 under her belt, and she’s even had the opportunity to tour as an opening act for major rock and pop artists like Stevie Nicks.

Country musician-composer Ingrid Andress revealed her plan to seek treatment at a rehabilitation center after giving a concert at MLB’s Home Run Derby event.

On Monday, I took the stage at the Home Run Derby to sing the National Anthem, but my rendition left many fans feeling uneasy and puzzled. My pitch wasn’t always on key, and it deviated from the pristine versions of the past that we’ve come to expect during such events.

Andress hopes to get help by checking into facility

The rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the sports event sparked widespread criticism on social media within no time, with several users poking fun at it as one of the poorest interpretations heard prior to such an event.

On Taylor’s social media accounts, she shared a short message on Tuesday, confessing that she was intoxicated during the show and intending to seek treatment at a facility afterwards.

“Honestly, I was intoxicated the previous night, Andress admitted. I’m seeking professional help starting today. That behavior wasn’t mine. I regret my actions and apologize to MLB, fans, and the nation I hold dear. I’ll keep you updated on my rehab experience. I’ve heard it’s quite enjoyable.”

I’ve been following Andress’ music career with great excitement, and I’m always impressed by her achievements. She’s had so many songs make it to the Billboard Hot 100, which is truly remarkable! Lately, I’ve seen her on tour as the opening act for some major rock and pop artists. It’s been an honor to witness her perform live in front of such large audiences, and most recently, I was thrilled to see her open for the legendary Stevie Nicks. What a fantastic experience!
