Sita Ramam

The movie “Sita Ramam” is a romantic drama infused with patriotic themes connected to the India-Pakistan relationship, serving as a backdrop for the heartwarming tale of Lieutenant Ram and Sita’s love affair in the 1960s. Throughout the film, Pakistani student Afreen embarks on an exploration to discover the truth behind a letter from Ram to his beloved, which her grandfather had preserved secretly for decades.

As a devoted follower, I’d like to share my thoughts on “Sita Ramam,” a captivating love story that subtly highlights Ram’s profound affection for his homeland amidst warfare. This enthralling period romantic drama was masterfully directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and boasts Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur as its leading pair. Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna also graced the film with her presence in a significant role.

“The movie tells the true story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who tragically lost his life during the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film starts by showing Sandeep’s childhood in Bangalore where he developed a keen interest in the military after witnessing a Navy parade. Despite being turned down by the Navy, he goes on to serve in the Indian Army and eventually becomes a training officer for the National Security Guard (NSG).”

In this movie, Sashi Kiran Tikka served as the director, while Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar took on the primary roles. Notably, Prakash Raj and Sobhita Dhulipala contributed substantial performances as well.

RRR’s narrative centers on the lives of two renowned revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who wage war against British colonial domination. The story unfolds when the British Governor Scott Buxton and his wife kidnap a young Gond girl named Malli from her tribe to serve as a maid. In retaliation, Bheem, the tribal chief, adopts a disguise as a Muslim named Akhtar and journeys to Delhi with the intention of rescuing her.

Simultaneously, Officer Raju, who is loyal to the British, finds himself assigned the mission of apprehending Bheem to secure a promotion. The movie was skillfully directed by SS Rajamouli and garnered numerous awards, including an Oscar. In this film, Ram Charan and Jr NTR portrayed the main characters in RRR.

Titled “Thuppakki,” this action-packed thriller from 2012 stars Thalapathy Vijay as Jagadish, a military intelligence officer. During his time off, he finds himself confronting a terrorist network hidden within Mumbai. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the film narrates Jagadish’s mission to neutralize this sleeper cell in the bustling city.

Keerthi Chakra

In 2006, the Malayalam movie titled “Keerthi Chakra” was helmed by Major Ravi. This film features Mohanlal portraying the main character, Major Mahadevan, who is based on a real-life individual involved in events during the Kargil War. The plot revolves around Major Mahadevan and his special forces unit as they confront militants in Kashmir, delving into the strong bond between Mahadevan and one of his subordinates, a Havildar.

As an ardent admirer, I’ll share my thoughts on the captivating film “Jana Gana Mana,” masterfully directed by the talented Dijo Jose Antony. This riveting legal thriller sees Prithviraj Sukumaran grace the screen as our central character. The story revolves around a chilling murder of a college professor, a crime that triggers a wave of student protests and turmoil.

Indian

In the year 1996, I found myself utterly captivated by the masterful creation of S Shankar, a movie starring the legendary Kamal Haasan – a cinematic experience I’ll never forget! This film, titled “Indian,” centers around an unforgettable character named Senapathi, a freedom fighter who, disillusioned by the corruption and injustice rampant in our nation, takes it upon himself to mete out justice by assassinating corrupt officials.
