Incredibles 3 Announced, Logo Revealed for Pixar Sequel

As a seasoned gamer with an uncanny knack for predicting sequel announcements before they even happen (seriously, I called Overwatch 2 back in 2016), I can confidently say that Incredibles 3 is a move destined to shake up the cinematic universe. Having grown up on the original Incredibles movie, its return feels like reconnecting with an old friend who’s been away too long.

The Incredibles are back for a third go-around as Pixar announced Incredibles 3 at D23.

Although no specific launch date has been disclosed yet for The Incredibles 3, fans have been treated to a sneak peek of its emblem and title slide, which you can find further down. Notably, Brad Bird is set to resume his role as director for the third installment in this cherished franchise.

What was Incredibles 2 about?

In “Incredibles 2,” Helen, voiced by Holly Hunter, takes charge of a mission to reintroduce superheroes into society, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) juggles everyday heroics at home with their children Violet, Dash, and baby Jack-Jack. As Jack-Jack’s hidden powers start to surface, the family’s plans are disrupted by a new villain with a menacing plan that puts everything at risk. Despite this setback, the Parr family, along with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson), rise to the challenge, demonstrating their incredible capabilities. This synopsis highlights the plot of the movie.

The movie “Incredibles 2” was crafted by Brad Bird (known for his work on The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille) as both writer and director. John Walker (previously involved with The Incredibles and Tomorrowland) and Nicole Grindle (Sanjay’s Super Team short, associate producer of Toy Story 3) served as producers. This sequel hit the big screen on June 15, 2018.
