The Penguin’s Cristin Milioti has joined the cast of Netflix’s In Your Dreams.

2025 will see the debut of a fresh animated Netflix film titled “In Your Dreams.” Alongside Milioti, the star-studded voice cast boasts Simu Liu, Craig Robinson, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elias Janssen, Gia Carides, Omid Djalili, SungWon Cho, and Zachary Noah Piser.

Milioti is widely recognized for her roles: Sofia Falcone in HBO’s The Penguin, Betsy Solverson in the second season of FX’s Fargo, and Nanette Cole in the “USS Callister” episode of Black Mirror.

She has acted in movies such as “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013), “It Had to Be You” (2015), and “Palm Springs” (2020), along with several other film appearances.

What is In Your Dreams about?

The tagline for the film is, ‘In Your Dreams’ – a humorous, dream-filled odyssey where Stevie and her brother Elliot traverse the bizarre terrains of their own dreams. If they manage to endure a sassy plush giraffe, breakfast foods turned zombies, and the ruler of nightmares, the Sandman will fulfill their most cherished dream – a flawless family.

In “In Your Dreams,” Alex Woo takes the helm as director, with Erik Benson lending a hand as co-director. The screenplay is penned by both Woo and Benson, derived from a story conceived by Woo in collaboration with Stanley Moore. Timothy Hahn and Gregg Taylor step up as producers, while John Debney provides the film’s score.

Speaking as a child of the animated era, it’s an absolute thrill for me to join forces with Alex Woo on his heartwarming and emotional movie. As the voice behind the mother character, I can hardly contain my excitement!

Woo remarked, “Cristin possesses the extraordinary skillset of an EGOT winner. She sings beautifully, acts convincingly, and I have no doubt she’d challenge Ginger Rogers in dancing. It’s remarkable how believable every performance from Cristin is, which is every director’s ideal.
