As an ardent fan of all things glamour and Bollywood, I must say that Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding festivities have left me absolutely spellbound! From her ethereal gilded goddess look at the cocktail party to her stunning South Indian bride avatar, she has truly outdone herself. The intricate detailing on her Kanjivaram saree and the traditional temple jewelry were just exquisite.
On December 4th, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala began a fresh chapter in their lives by getting married at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Although it was thought that the festivities had concluded, designer Tarun Tahiliani shared previously unseen images from the couple’s post-wedding cocktail party on his social media account.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that designer Tarun Tahiliani disclosed insights about Sobhita Dhulipala’s post-wedding cocktail ensemble. He revealed that for this special occasion, she opted for his creation from his design repertoire. She gracefully donned a signature sculpted draped gown, accessorized with pieces and a bag from his jewelry and handbag collection. He expressed that she exuded an ethereal, gilded goddess aura.
In a gown that embodies our distinctive flowing design, adorned with TT jewelry and a TT handbag, she radiated an enchanting aura reminiscent of a golden divine goddess. This ensemble was a joyful blend of love and style, as penned by Tarun Tahiliani.

She finished off her appearance with conventional temple ornaments, such as a multi-layered necklace and bracelets for the arms. Additionally, she donned bangles and a waist sash as part of her collection of accessories. Sobhita styled her hair in a braided fashion, decorated with jasmine blooms.

At Sobhita’s wedding celebrations, her outfits were definitely eye-catching, but it was her mehendi designs that truly captured everyone’s attention. As our source revealed, the design for the mehendi was inspired by the famous Madurai Temple. The motifs used were taken from the Madurai Meenakshi Amman and Sundareswara, specifically the Utsava Murthi. The pattern on the back of her hand was designed to mimic the beautifully decorated Padhakkam worn by Goddess Meenakshi.
