League of Legends TCG: Gameplay

To attract a large player community swiftly, Executive Producer Chengran Chai has unveiled plans for structured gameplay. This structure will encompass local stores, regional, and even national tournaments.

As a gamer, I’m pumped because this game isn’t just a single-player adventure. I’ll be able to challenge my friends one-on-one, but You can partner up with another friend for a 2v2 showdown, or if you’re feeling extra bold, jump into a four-player free-for-all where everyone is out for themselves!

The TCG is established within the Runeterra universe known from League of Legends, encompassing characters, locations, items, and significant events derived from its lore.

Contestants can construct decks with forty cards each, then engage in battles to control various Battlefield zones. The objective is to score eight points by successfully capturing these areas.

The gameplay centers around placing units on the field, outfitting them with equipment, and employing unique skills to establish an edge. Each participant’s collection is spearheaded by a Champion, a popular figure from League of Legends, whose Rune (color) arrangement determines the deck’s overall strategy.

Preview Of The Runes

Here’s what’s been revealed about the aforementioned Runes, aka the cards’ colors, so far:
