In a recent conversation, Will Smith (the notable star of Hancock) revealed that he’s met with Michael B. Jordan to discuss the highly anticipated follow-up to the movie “I Am Legend”.
It’s been confirmed that Akiva Goldsman, the scriptwriter, is currently developing the storyline for I Am Legend 2. In a recent live stream on Twitch with Will Smith and Michael B. Jordan, they mentioned that they spent a week discussing character details, implying that production on the sequel may be moving forward.
After working with Michael B. Jordan on I Am Legend 2, the seasoned actor freely shared his thoughts about their collaboration. He expressed, “I enjoy collaborating with him immensely. He truly understands the craft. I’ve worked with numerous young actors and performers, and there’s a noticeable distinction between actors and cinematic celebrities.
The plot details for I Am Legend 2 are being kept secret at the moment, but director Akiva Goldsman has revealed that they plan to change the ending of the original movie for the sequel. In a previous interview with Collider, he mentioned that they will be using an alternate version where Will Smith’s character survives and humanity doesn’t fare so well instead. As of now, there is no confirmed release date for this project.
