The wait for Chapter 401 has felt like an eternity, but finally, on October 7, 2024, the wait will be over. I’ve been counting down the days since the last chapter dropped on December 25, 2022.
It is a known meme among Hunter x Hunter fans that the wait for new chapters is never-ending.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but express my concern for the health of the incredible Yoshihiro Togashi. His dedication to crafting this masterpiece is evident, yet it seems he pushes himself to the limit, exerting his body beyond normal bounds in the process.
Now, the new chapter will finally release and the wait will be surprisingly short.

Chapter 401 will already be released on October 7, 2024, in Shōnen Jump Weekly.
Enthusiasts of the manga are thrilled by this latest news, as it’s been a while since the last chapter came out on December 25, 2022.
But what does this mean for the anime?
I’m afraid we’ll need to be patient a bit more regarding the next chapter of Hunter x Hunter anime. As of now, there hasn’t been any fresh news about its resumption.
As a longtime fan who has grown up with this anime, I can only express my heartfelt optimism that Togashi’s progress will eventually lead to a revival of the series. Having been through various ups and downs in my own life, I know all too well how important it is for an artist to stay healthy both physically and mentally. Here’s to hoping that Togashi continues to create new stories for us to enjoy!
