As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for movies, I can hardly contain my excitement about the casting of Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson in “Song Sung Blue“. With Jackman’s impressive track record from Deadpool vs. Wolverine to Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie, and Hudson’s upcoming roles in Shell and Running Point, this musical drama seems like a perfect fit.
The movie production company, Focus Features, has confirmed that Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson will star as the main characters in the upcoming musical drama entitled “Song Sung Blue,” which they’ve both agreed to take part in.
Most recently, Jackman appeared in Marvel Studios’ adult-themed film Deadpool vs. Wolverine, which raked in over $1.3 billion globally at the box office. He is also set to star in a mystery comedy thriller titled Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie, alongside Emma Thompson. On the other hand, Hudson is slated to feature in Max Minghella’s dark comedy horror film Shell, alongside Elisabeth Moss. Additionally, she will appear in Netflix’s latest office-themed comedy series titled Running Point.
What is Song Sung Blue about?
Inspired by real events, two struggling artists, Jackman and Kate, come together to create an upbeat Neil Diamond cover band. They demonstrate that it’s always possible to discover love and pursue your aspirations, even when times are tough.
