16-year-old Hudson Meek, who gained fame through his acting roles, particularly in the action film “Baby Driver,” has sadly passed away. This news was confirmed by his family.
As reported by Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates through AL.com, it appears that Meek was unfortunately involved in an accident in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on December 19th. The authorities stated that the actor fell from a moving vehicle and suffered traumatic injuries from blunt force. Despite being taken to a nearby hospital, he tragically passed away peacefully on Saturday.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Meek’s family announced his passing. The message read, “We sadly inform you that Hudson Meek left us tonight to be with the Lord above.” His 16 years on earth were tragically brief, yet during this time, he achieved much and made an indelible impression on everyone he encountered.
In 2017, Meek starred as Young Baby in the action film “Baby Driver” directed by Edgar Wright, a performance that significantly boosted his acting career. He has also been featured in the 2023 production “Found” and is set to appear in an upcoming project titled “The School Duel.” As per his obituary, Meek was passionate about outdoor activities, with skiing, snowboarding, tubing, wakeboarding, among his favorites.
