Howl's Moving Castle meets Plants vs. Zombies – Sunsoft releases Ark of Charon in November

As a seasoned gamer who’s been around since the dawn of Studio Ghibli-inspired tower defense games, I can hardly contain my excitement for Sunsoft’s Ark of Charon. Having dabbled with its early access version, I can attest that it’s a unique blend of colony sim and tower defense that truly stands out from the crowd.

Following its early release in July, the game titled Sunset’s Ark of Charon, which blends elements of colony simulation and tower defense, will officially become available for download on both PC and Steam starting November 7.

The attractive video game that evokes the visual charm of Studio Ghibli’s “Howl’s Moving Castle” and offers gameplay similar to tower defenders, where you also build a civilization, is set for release soon, adding more content to its early access version.

As the guardian of the seedling of the World Tree, you are humanity’s final chance for survival. Your mission is to lead the colossal tree-beast towards its nursery, transforming it into a mobile fortress as you go, in order to protect yourself against waves of aggressive monsters.

As you command your golems, gather resources to build diverse weaponry for battle, erect defensive structures, and set off on your adventure, always ensuring that your rolling base is organized and optimized for maximum efficiency.

On November 7th, don’t forget to visit the Steam page for the complete launch of “Ark of Charon,” a game developed by Sunsoft and co-developed by angoo. Prepare yourself for the second part of your adventure, which includes the Word Tree Extractor device to collect fresh energy, new weapon options, plus other enhancements such as balance tweaks and visual upgrades.
