How to Train Your Dragon Video Unveils New Look at Gerard Butler’s Return

Universal Pictures recently unveiled a fresh new video for the forthcoming live-action adaptation of DreamWorks Animation’s hit series, “How to Train Your Dragon”. This film is set to debut in cinemas on June 13, 2025.

On the rugged island of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have long been enemies, Hiccup, the creative but overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast, breaks centuries-old tradition by befriending Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. This unique bond reveals that dragons are not the monstrous foes they’ve been perceived to be, shaking the very foundations of Viking society. Alongside Astrid, a fierce and ambitious ally, and Gobber, Berk’s quirky blacksmith, Hiccup navigates a world divided by fear and misunderstanding. As an ancient danger arises, threatening both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes crucial in shaping a new future. They must tread carefully towards peace, exploring uncharted territories and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.
