As a seasoned Stalker, I’ve learned the art of survival in the Zone, and let me tell you, trading is as much a part of my life as dodging anomalies and avoiding rogue stalkers. The intricate web of trade in this game is a fascinating dance between need and supply, and it’s crucial to master it if I want to keep my pockets lined with the precious artifacts I find.
In Stalker 2, a significant portion of your time will be spent locating anomalies and completing tasks for people. How to trade and sell gear and weapons – Stalker 2
As a gamer, I navigate my character to any bustling settlement to swap or offload my looted gear. These places are brimming with traders, each offering unique wares for sale and eager to accept my surplus items. To find them, I keep an eye out for the distinctive bag icon on my map. Sometimes, I have to zoom in closer to reveal all the icons within a settlement. It’s all part of the thrilling experience!
Engage in dialogue with the merchant, followed by pressing ‘E’ to view their merchandise. On the right-hand side of your display, you’ll notice your stockpile. You can pick up items you want to sell and move them into the “Sell” zone. The amount you’ll receive for these goods will be displayed at the screen’s base, allowing you to either finalize the transaction or opt to keep the items.
As a dedicated player, I always ensure to replace my weapons and common gear once they turn yellow. This is because traders tend to pass on items that have degraded significantly, turning red. Repairing these items for resale usually isn’t cost-effective.
