One of the standout features of Warframe: 1999 was the introduction of The Backroom. Located within Hollvania Central Mall, this convenient space serves as a second home for the Drifter, offering all the amenities necessary to manage missions. With everything you could ask for at your fingertips, why not consider it your permanent residence?

How to switch your base of operations to the Backroom in Warframe

To move your main base to the Backroom, navigate to the Hollvania terminal in your Orbiter. It’s located on the right side of the navigation console. Once there, interact with the terminal and select the Backrooms icon on the map. When you make this selection, it will prompt you if you’d like to transfer your base of operations to the Backroom.

From then on, each time you enter or exit a game session or mission, you’ll find yourself in the Backroom rather than the Drifter’s Camp. To return to the Drifter’s Camp, simply navigate to its location on Earth and choose it from the map screen. You’ll be prompted to confirm the switch, and if you prefer to keep your current base as is, just click ‘no’.

If you currently have ongoing tasks that need you to access specific locations, you might find it difficult to implement the necessary changes. In case you encounter problems, remember to complete any active missions or quests before attempting further adjustments.
