As a seasoned Guardian who’s seen the Light through countless battles, I must say that Bungie has outdone themselves yet again with the new Vesper’s Host dungeon in Destiny 2: Revenant.
In Destiny 2: Revenant, the Vesper’s Host dungeon is introduced, but prior to engaging in this new endgame activity, players need to fulfill a specific requirement. Similar to other dungeons and raid adventures, a quest will be provided to players by a Non-Player Character (NPC) before they can embark on this challenge.
How to start Vesper’s Host
To begin the Vesper’s Host mission, it is essential that players first complete the Rogue Network quest provided by Spider in the Last City seasonal hub. Additionally, obtaining The Final Shape Dungeon Key will also be necessary. Once these prerequisites are fulfilled, you can initiate the new dungeon.
Regardless of whether you finish the dungeon and replay it with a different player, each new participant must possess the quest. Attempting to start the game without the quest will prompt an alert informing you that one or more players are lacking a necessary prerequisite.
It’s beneficial to complete all tasks in the Act 1 campaign prior to venturing into Vesper’s Host. This way, you’ll accumulate as much Power and Artifact bonuses as possible. Moreover, keep in mind that the Rogue Network quest may not be accessible right away, a few steps into the campaign.
To initiate the Vesper’s Host dungeon in Destiny 2, the process is identical to other dungeons: you access it from its designated location. However, on your initial attempt, completing the Rogue Network quest is essential and defeating it is required.
