As a seasoned Remnant 2 player with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that embarking on The Dark Horizon is like diving headfirst into a fresh pool of adventure! After years of battling the Rot and saving the world, I found myself itching for something new, and boy, did Remnant deliver.

The Dark Horizon – an exclusive addition for those who own the DLC. They can embark on a unique One-Shot Adventure, where everything that appears is entirely new. To initiate this DLC, simply navigate to Ward 13 and begin rolling a fresh adventure.

How to start The Dark Horizon

To start The Dark Horizon, load up Remnant 2 and go to Ward 13. Touch the big world crystal and select World Settings down the bottom. Select “Create New Adventure Mode” at the bottom of the Adventure Mode tab.

Move to the right to locate “The Dark Horizon One Shot.” This one-time option grants access to a standalone adventure set within The Dark Horizon DLC. All dungeons, bosses, and items featured are exclusive new content. Once selected, make sure to confirm your decision by choosing the DLC tile.


The Dark Horizon DLC will now be your active Adventure, which you can launch from the world crystal fast travel screen. Look for the N’Erud panel from the radial menu and select it.

Keep in mind that when you re-roll the Adventure, the fresh elements will blend with the previous ones, resulting in a mix of both new and familiar aspects. To ensure you encounter only brand new content, your sole option is to fully play through the One Shot, although this won’t encompass everything.
